Oh, I remember this story. Unfortunately, I also remember how she upset me at one time. It annoys me when what seems to be a happy ending, promising for a good future in the sequel, is suddenly crossed out and without any explanation says that everything has become bad.

@Humanity, maybe you should: you could take this down and instead rewrite this as about the happy life with Chrysalis and Fang being together.

in fact, the gloomy and depressing turn of events was made by the author of the original source himself.
because in one of the sequels without any explanation, it is stated that for some reason Chrysalis still joins the villainous trio and loses, repeating the canonical battle.
hence Chrysalis became a stone, and Fang's fate is unknown.
