I guess you can say it was lucky that image existed in the first place, because I really had no idea what image to use. I originally wanted to use the one with that had Cadance, Flurry, and the Guard in it at once.

Thanks, I just couldn't help myself. There really are just too many clues and mysteries spread throughout both of Holocron's books that needed to be addressed. All that build up only to say that it all was coincidence just doesn't work given everything we know about these characters.

As I said in my Authors Note, I'd studied both books thoroughly, and it takes a lot of work to write everything down perfectly to point out every contradiction and give an explanation to each one, not to mention building a whole story around it.

Holocron really is a genius writer because being able to even make this story wouldn't even be possible at all if everything didn't fit perfectly like a damn puzzle.

I made it my mission not to make up anything just to make the puzzle piece fit. If I have to fabricate anything from the original story just so my theories can make sense, even a tiny bit, then my story has epically failed.

I did hit a wall with that at one point. There was this one small event that happened in "Flurry Hearts Favorite Guard" Where I thought a certain character initiated this event. I had everything all planned out for writing this, I was super excited and loved what I came up with, but eventually I came to realize that the character initiating this event doesn't make sense, given from what I remembered. So, when I re-read how this event was actually initiated. Yeah, it was a different character who initiated and that made me throw all my earlier ideas out the window.

It was in that moment I was stuck and didn't know what to do. I didn't want to change what exactly happened in the original just to make my story work. At first, I didn't know what to do, after some lengthy brainstorming and research. I figured out how to continue without changing a damn thing from the original.

As I said, Holocron is a smart writer and solving the puzzle behind his story was actually easy, and that's what made this story possible, giving it a beginning, middle, and end, all without making any changes to the clues found in the original.

Though the two may be at peace now and are starting to become good friends. It still hurts to know that Cadance hated Spell that much that she would use whatever means available to her to keep him out of Flurry's life.
