Spoiled Rich finds that affairs come with their fair share of surprises. Maybe she'll have more reasons to continue her latest one than previously thought.

The title is derived from this poem.

That may not be a good thing because I can honestly say that I no idea what the poem means. Could somebody please help me out here?!

Most poems don’t usually have super straightforward interpretations. If you want, you could look up some examples and see which one you think best suits the poem.

You could also look up information about the poet (her name is Sylvia Plath) and see what biographical events may have inspired her poem.

The poem made me think of this,

Bring On The Men

Spoiled Rich is hot but a horrible person/pony.

Of course someone deleted their comment before I could read it. :facehoof:

I feel like being a horrible person negates your ability to be hot, but maybe that’s just me.

I find it fascinating that Tirek seems to be a better parent than Spoiled. Sure some of that is probably just helping her cover story, but he seemed to actually put thought into that book. Not an angle I would have expected from him.

Wow, okay, that was like incredible. I absolutely loved the scene building in this, weaving how much of a bitch Spoiled is without making it a focal point was nice because it built into the scenes rather than detracting from them like so often can happen. The detailing of Tirek's imposing statue and how he just exudes MAN is a lovely thing to me and I want you to write more of this because omg yaaaas. Also, all I could think while reading it was how I wanted this to be like a Neo-Noir film idk why it just gave me this impression.

Overall, I'd say a 10/10 story that I'd love to read again, fucking incredible job dear.

It's wonderful that I haven't lost my touch there. I find that stories that draw attention to aspects like that feel... off. It suggests a newness to the trait or that the characters are doing something novel. It loses the slice-of-life aspect that the characters are just like this, and the implication that the characters have been here before. This isn't Spoiled Rich's and Tirek's first radio. They're aware of who they are.

It's probably all of the damn alcohol. (And for breakfast, no less.)

I wanted to leave it up to the reader whether it was just something that he grabbed for a holiday sale or if he's rubbing salt in the wound (for Diamond Tiara) intentionally with the subject matter, even though she'd never really know anything beyond the fact that her mom didn't get that gift.
