6906856 Cadance doesn't have much faith in her aunt in that area. Hence she made sure that she and Twilight have one so Twilight will have proof.
Honestly she is hoping to prevent capture but sicne we don't know how or when it happened she can't fully defend against it.
This story is very gripping metaphorically, I await the next chapter with great anticipation.
