Interesting... so you are making us guess who the mare is. Ok... not AJ, RD... probably not Twilight or Fluttershy, doesn't seem to be Rarity. But she could be somepony outside the Mane 6. I look forward to seeing more.

Part of the challenge was to "Subvert the traditional pairings" so I figured, "Hey, let's not make it obvious who the girl is right off the bat."
So, naturally, to avoid spoilers, I left that tags off XD
I will put it up tomorrow, since at that point it will be a late arrival spoiler anyway~!
That said, I expected this to take a lot longer in the que, so I put up the first chapter to get it going, and I was still writing the second one when it got put up XD

Pretty good up to now, only one minor issue:
"when I shouldn’t of been" should be "when I shouldn't have been."
That was pretty sweet.
Between the letter writing, the rambling and the remarks that saying Presumptuous a lot does weird things to one's thought processes, it seemed pretty obvious to me that Twilight was the one writing.
