This was quite a good read. I particularly liked the biblical style it consistently has - chosen people who receive instructions from a higher power, tests of faith, promised lands, and the founders being the "parents" of a group of people - and how you framed it with Gilda and her father reading the story and reacting to it.

Overall, a pretty fun adventure short. Well done!
