Holy punctuation and repeated word errors! Please proofread this or have it proofread; it would be a crying shame if an otherwise perfectly entertaining story (it certainly starts off excellent!) would be tarnished by something as avoidable as that.

im a DM myself, im very interested where this story is going, if i could suggest you something is that if wich system do you use (D20, D10, etc), also if you want i be more than happy to design the character sheet for your game, also if i could use it on one of my own sessions, because it is a very interesting RPG of ponykind inspired on FiM

2273847 the system that I use is based on the one from Iron Kingdoms, using 2 d6's but I guess you could easily exchange that for the d20 system. Also if you do make characters sheet that would be pretty awesome, I'll make sure to cite you for helping me out. And yeah you could use them for your own game if you like

2277429>>2277429 Whoa, that's a tall order there buddy. I originally created that lore hastily just for readers to get a feel of the world that the mane six were gonna go adventuring in for the story but I guess I can try to expand on it and spice it up a little when I have the time.
When you talk about the jobs they're called careers in this one, the entire list of it is on the second chapter. I guess I could go a little more in depth with it along with the world and the spells, weapons, etc.
I'll probably write it as an entirely separate chapter for you and others to look through but It might take a while to write something like that on a whim.

Excellent story thus far. It really captures the sense of wonder for first time players in Tabletop RPGs and well done creating a legitamately fascinating RPG just for a story. I'm sure somebody will defictionalize it in no time. Keep up the good work.

Both good and bad.
You put a lot of thought and work into this "story" and also presentation. You got the interest and the characters down.
But then I use "story" loosely. Granted, there's a lot to go over- but this is too much. Only RPGs fans will get past chapter two. It kinda stopped being entertaining as a story and more of a "manual."
But... I don't want to be rude or critical of your writing- but couldn't you go over one aspect at a time? Granted this was all just a setup, history and lore- but some of these subjects seem like it should take time to process. No, I'm not calling the mane 6 stupid-
But does the subject of religion even exist in Equestria? Not that it doesn't exist, but I never seen a church, heard a prayer, or even a passing notion of "gods." Even Discord is refered to as a spirit.
I'm rambling aren't I? I just wanted to say it may have been nice to have been fed the game a little at a time and seen and understood the reactions, thoughts, reservations. And other things presented to the mane six like a story.
Jeez, reading this makes me want to get out my old Baldur's Gate discs and lose about a week of sleep.

2317143 Nah you're not rambling, i understand what you meant by how the second chapter my story kind of ended being some sort of manual but i was kinda writing it up as one while trying to combine the first time reactions of the mane six, i may have made it kind of foggy that they just kind of skimmed through it. The reason it probably felt awkward was how I presented and worded it.
and the whole religion thing is debatable, it mostly subjective to the characters of the world. It could be called something else and may even be something entirely different but... eh not sure.
