The story you are about to read has quite an upsetting beginning. It's about a young pony named Violet, princess of a kingdom called Hoofprint which borders Equestria. One day she had an argument about a frilly dress with her parents so she ended up running out, opened the the kingdom gates, passed out, and let in an evil monster who took over her mother, and to keep this beast from taking over her beloved kingdom she struck a deal that she would get 1 hundred-million bits and come back, the catch is she can't tell anyone. So yeah it doesn't sound very nice but she makes her way and finds new friends that help her along her journey of getting the money to regain her kingdom!

huh I didn't expect to read a fairytail on Fimfiction, but since I love fairytails, why not give it a shot.
I like your story a lot and as SkyStorm said, the setting of having the story be told by someone else can turn out very interesting.
You have a lot of fairytail-esque themes in the story. They might be by mistake (not really a mistake, more like something good), but they give the story a nice feel.
I hope to see more of this.
