I love this person's take on Canterlot! That's how I would envision one of the quarters.

Technically EoA2 came with 'First Victory'. Not that I actually explicitly break down and plan the story around this, but I think i can find the crude parts if you looked at it in film theory. It also falls in with the 'middle' being most of the work. But then, this is a novel, not a film. And apparently has eclipsed 400 pages, which puts it 12 pages shy of the longest thing I've ever written. And it's probably already the best. I'm not sure how to feel about that. . .

Mind telling me what you're interested in or watching me for? Obvs. my writing, but I think this begs a sort of question since I'm getting close to done with my massive fic. I'm thinking about what to write next. And it probably won't be big, big stuff for a damned long time.

For example, will my viewers turn on me if I write a bunch of shipping fic or something. :D

Okay so maybe instead of a one-shot sabbatical I've been burying myself in drafting my semester project, which is a short story, which has so little to do with MLP or anything in this side of the world so it's of little consequence. That being said, the next few chapters of DoD have been drafted. What we conceive of as 'Act 2' of the story will conclude this week in a small flurry of updates. Writing is always so... double-edged to me. I rarely feel as whole and idealized as I do when I complete something. A story, a chapter. On the other hand, I always fall back on the feeling that I'm a failure.

Forgive me for throwing this blog out to the pones, but I need some help! I might be able to go to a pony con next year if I try really, really hard. I'm looking for opinions on people who have been to any of them. Right now I'm defaulting to looking at Everfree Northwest because it's the closest thing to where I live and probably will cause the least travel cost/stress.
