Whelp, message received. It seems public interest in a reimagined-from-scratch Rainbow Factory is pretty low, to put it lightly. Now knowing this and coupling it with how long it has been taking to complete the story, I’m now questioning if my time wouldn’t be better spent on other projects. With this in mind I think I’ll shelve the concept for a little while.
I’ve got nothing better to talk about today, so I think I’ll make this my time to come clean about a long-struggling project of mine: Absentia.
Good news: The first draft of the new Guppy Love is complete! Now I’ve started the tedious work of going through it all over again. It took me a couple years (maybe three?) to finish the draft and I’m sure there are issues as a result. Things I thought of halfway through that need to be foreshadowed earlier, ideas I abandoned that need their foreshadowing removed, things of that nature.

You know, I’ve got some extra time on my hands. I think I’ll read a book. Let’s see… That one will do.
For the first blog of 2024, I feel like discussing a peculiar discovery I made. So my sister and niece were set to head back to Japan on Friday, yes? Since I live only twenty-five minutes from the airport and was heading home on the same day, I offered to simply take them with me. It proved a pleasant trip, with me getting a few hours of time to chat with my sister alone while Evy provided a bit of background entertainment.
Hello everypony, and welcome to 2024.
