Why is the only thing I've been able to write lately is poetry.

Cottonwood, the pioneer of the prairie and steadfast she will stand.
Her bark is torn, anything but grand.
Blows she will take
And her leaves will quake.
But move from her spot she will not,
For her roots are there until they rot.

...Maybe I should invest in a Bongo set.
