Today we pay respects to the actress Melinda Dillon who passed away at age 83. She has been in such movies as Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Harry and the Hendersons, and her most notable role as Mrs. Parker in A Christmas Story.

There was a time back then before there was Freeform, before there was ABC Family. We had Fox Family. It had a combination of cartoons, animes, live shows, good movies, and TV sketches you would've found only on the Fox channel be it for Fox Kids or later on in the day. And this was the very first commercial I remember seeing when the network was first advertised.

It was 24 years ago this day Cartoon Network blessed us with one of the best cartoon cartoons ever. Featuring a modern day Three Stooges-esque trio all sharing the same name. It ran for five seasons, with an additional season a few years following the fourth, three holiday specials, one alien invasion special, and finishing off with a CN movie. Even to this day these three boys know how to make me laugh in their own ways. Congrats Ed Boys, you are the best of the best.

We pay our respects to Barbara Walters, the first lady of TV news who passed away at the age of 93 peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. She lived her life with no regrets . She really spoke out to the viewers especially women. And she interviewed so many people. But my fave will be when she interviewed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, where Donnie had a crying meltdown malfunction in his mask.
