I had an idea for how I would start a Twi Scootadopt? Would you all rather I write this or take Deal off of hiatus?

You see someone acting like a complete douchebag and you really want to call them out, but it's not like anyone asked you? Also picking a fight is more trouble then it is worth, (probably)

I'm not looking to talk politics. I firmly believe that politics has no place on an mlp website. But civic duty does. So if you're 18 and you live in the US, then make sure you know where your polling place is, and what your day is like on Tuesday so you can find some time to vote. It matters. I don't even care who you vote for, (or at least I'm not looking to start a fight about that subject).

I feel like I owe you all an update. I've been quiet as of late, some of it is general busy-ness, but a large part of it is just lack of motivation. I've seen other authors go through this. The consensus seems to be "take your time, go do something else and come back when you're ready", and I like that advice, but I also want to finish my stories. So I'll try to write something sometime, but if any of you have any tips or want to talk about writing, let me know. I find talking about writing

It's approaching two months since I last updated Three Gems and a Scooter, and while I try not to be beholden to my audience I am aware that I have one. As such you all deserve an explanation for why there's no new chapter.

Part of it is I got inspired to finish my Spike fic, that's almost done. In addition a lot of my writing time has been taken up with a Rage Review and a collab project I'm working on getting off the ground.

You have a story and you don't know how to end it and then suddenly it hits you. Isn't that a great feeling?

I recently got into the Hamilton Soundtrack. (It's amazing, go check it out.) That search led me to a video of Lin Manuel Miranda talking to a group of high school students. Fun fact about Hamilton is that is took Lin six years to write it, so one of the students asked him how he dealt with those periods where he wanted to give up. (Writers Block).
