My schedule has slipped more than normal, chaotic as it already is. I partially psyched myself out with the big reunion between Diane and Aron/Alice. There's so much to potentially cover that I'm worried I'll miss something. I considered writing an intermediary chapter from Alibi's perspective, but that felt overly constraining to attempt.

As a consequence of personal growth I now have all of the bad habits and none of the excuses for the timetable. What I can say is that I've been looking forward to writing some of the upcoming scenes for years. This is a strange thing I do—that I still don't believe when I explain it to myself. If I had the energy to write, I would be forging ahead. I've cleared a lot of my mental obstacles, but hard work is still just that. Anyway, let's see if I can make anything of this director's cut. I feel like there should be a generic term for the sort of content that content creators put out to tread water, whereas all their followers have gathered because of a particular type of content that actually requires work.

Wow, I'm a coward lately. I've always been nervous about checking my notifications, but now it's ridiculous. I'll have to rip the bandage off when I post next.

As a thought: I might do the camp arc as episodic chapters. I'd put up a poll asking if this would be welcome, but that would require me to be less of a coward.

I am curious about how people change. I know what I want with my writing. I know how to it could be done. I won't make any promises aside from the next one being soon.
