My birthday is coming up May 16th

I just learned that Mark will be leaving my house midnight tonight. It turns out he didn't waste the money to go to Italy he just wanted to hang out for a few days. He's been complaining about the state of California since our grandmother died and has been moaning and complaining about wanting to leave. Whatever I'm just glad he's out of the house. Now my dad, he knows how much I dislike mark. He surprises me, in a good way, and gives me his old computer. He even said he'll move it into his bedroom, which he does.

Thing is, the thing keeps turning off every 5 minutes. He's kind of a hoarder when it comes to computer parts. Why spend hundreds of dollars on new parts when it's probably just a bad power supply, or a video card, or a motherboard? No matter what he tries though, it just won't stay on long enough to actually do anything.

So, a while back, my grandmother had passed away due to cancer. As it turned out, her home was worth $500,000. As cold and callous it is to think, my family really needed the money. (Due to another issue, which I won't talk about, so don't ask) But when it comes to inheritance, the media lies, as it's actually a long, tenuous legal matter. It took, I think, almost 6 months to secure our share, which was 100,000. That doesn't include actually selling the home.
