Snappy title, eh? Describes how I feel. Wish I knew WHY, so I can fix it.
If you're living on borrowed time, do you have to return it?

Next week, going to have a full week off, shifting buildings and job shifts. Back half, 11 hour days are going to be a chore. Hope I can handle it.
More stories and chapters up since my last post, with one up today and two more in the pipeline. Next week, maybe I'll have more done and posted.
Still no car, but at least it's cooling off here in the desert. Buses are tolerable, as is waiting for them.
More when I think of more.
At last... got a proper icon. This is Purple Point, as pictured in chapter six of Goldfur's Cosmic Lotus, 'Relativity'. Thank Foxena for doing this. I already did. Better than my old cat pic.
Bit of a personal disaster. I no longer have a car, and now have to ride a bike to work and back. It's only 3.2 miles one way, and it is agreeably flat. Hopefully I can get a four-wheeled vehicle with air conditioning soon. Until such a day, I endure. Somehow.
Two more stories posted, another one in Hal Sleet's line, and one concerning everyone's favorite Engineer, Purple Point. My hat is off to both Mixtape and Goldfur for sparking my ideas. It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I think writing in someone else's storyline, because you LIKE the storyline, is just as sincere. Now to hope the readers like it as much as I do.
Got my crossover story 'Stop That Blimp' posted. Crossover in the fact I'm crossing two story lines, and Goldfur was kind enough to let me play nice in his back yard. He likes it, and may you do, too. I have a couple tales pending about Major Sleet and his family, but I can and will sit on them until I get the okay to do so.
Two new stories posted today, "Ties of Family", an anniversary piece I thought of, and 'Math Class", which resulted from a sprint, the first one I took part in. Short, I know, but what the hey, I write when the muse smacks me with a clue-by-four.
Been here in the new place for a week, and am liking it much more than the old place. No sweating. It cool. It has room. Unpacking is gonna take a while, though.
Have been without net until yesterday. That and all the moving and unpacking has me behind on my writing. Now that matters are settling here, I can start thinking about it.
Was supposed to pick up keys to new apartment today, but... it is not ready, and I'm being given a different apartment, one further in the back of the complex. Pick up keys Monday, move on Tuesday.
Friends who were supposed to help me moved flaked, so now I have to hire a couple of men AND a U-haul to get the stuff moved cross town. On a weekday. In traffic, which is why I'm moving. $200 out the frickin window.
Working on a tale (in conjunction with Jay911 and Starscape) in the PaP storyline, where RT and family go to Ponytown in the spring to pitch in after a hard winter. Making good progress, 11 pages down, hoo nose how many more.
Did the one with Mixtape set in Vegas, but he's asking to wait a while before posting it. His universe, he rules. It done. Another one in the same universe is on hold.
Hello, everyone. This is old Alden here, deciding to say something to you all out there. This is what I want to say.
Thank you.
Thank you for providing a forum for me to place my stories, (okay, one now, more to come) thank you for READING my stories, and thanks again for your feedback.
There's a lot I can do both with Rapid Transit and family, as well as Hal Sleet. (he's in what I'm writing now. Give me a couple weeks more before I send it to the world's creator for final polishing.
