The Cutimark Crusaders frequently get into trouble, not everyone has a great appreciation for this.

This was my entry for the Iron Author competition at Everfree NW this year. The only changes that have been made since then are grammatical ones, and finishing a hanging sentence I forgot to cap off.

We had two hours to write a story under 2k words that had to include exactly 3 of the following: Manticores, The Market Place, Pushing the Envelope, and Stars and Stripes.

Celestia may not have told Twilight everything about her arrival in Ponyville. PaigeSaga, the previous librarian of ponyville must deal with the fact that she has been forced out of a job, and as a result no longer has a home.

This story came into existence during Everfree NW's Iron Author competition. We had 2 hours to write a story that involved a loss of greatness, lunch, and the Ponyville clock tower. This was my entry. I have since taken the time to replace filler names, and fix a few missing letters.

Briar Thorn, a unicorn with the strange and useless ability to hear the feelings of the plant life around him, must come to terms with his cutiemark, talent, and place in society. While still struggling with his own identity crisis, another crisis rears its ugly head in Ponyville, can Briar help? Or will he reach his personal limits too soon?
