Today I was at an eye doctor to accompany a family member recovering from eye surgery.

Yet I was the one who ran into the sliding glass door. And the 10-plus other cataract patients in the waiting room were fine.

Nothing was hurt. Except for my pride.

Two words.

Writer's block.

I've written quite a bit for the next chapter of My Sister, Cozy Glow, but I'm not liking any of it and it's just all over the place. I'm still not sure what direction I wanna take with Spur's character. I want to give Spur a more positive outlook, something that shows her moving on from her sister's death petrification.

Hi everyone! So school is out and I'm home with Mommy for the holidays so hopefully I will have more time to focus on my writing and other hobbies. (I should also kinda stop procrastinating with everything.)

I have writing fatigue from all the final papers at the end of the semester. Worked on a transportation research paper with three other people and I probably did 80-90% of all the research and writing.

So, I read "Business Trip" by AlwaysDressesinStyle. Aside from being just an amazing story, s/he gives an excellent tour of the New York City area. And as I've never lived in NYC nor visited there for a long time, I don't think I would be able to give as nearly as engaging of a picture of NYC as s/he does.

I've been a little dry of ideas for a while, until recently I had a trace of an idea. As the title suggests, the story will involve Cozy Glow and Spur, who look so damn alike that I couldn't resist making them sisters. The story is mainly centered around Spur, and her fears of becoming evil like her little sister.

I'm always really sucky with coming up with names, so if y'all have any suggestions for the names of Spur and Cozy Glow's parents...let me know in the comments.
