When Fluttershy’s little brother comes to Ponyville from his lifeguarding duty in Baltimare, she hopes for her friends to be nice towards the equally-shy stallion, but later regrets it when she realizes that they’ve all fallen head over hooves for the surprisingly handsome brother.

Set after "The Perfect Pear" and Apple Bloom's birth and before "The Cutie Mark Chronicles" flashbacks, Pear Butter and Bright Mac are on their way to Vanhoover to meet Grand Pear with the intent of making amends. While waiting at the train station, the apple parents separately encounter mares and stallions that will be recognized as the parents of Equestria's future heroes.
