Why is there so damn much of it? It was 60 yesterday, it's going to be 50 tomorrow, but it's snowing like crazy to day.
Seriously, the wtf is up with St. Louis and nonsensical weather?

I love New Years. It's the night the world starts over, a clean slate if you will. Let's hope things make a turn for the better this year.
Please have a safe and happy holiday weekend.
There can be only one!
Or not, as the case may be. Either way, I've spent the past two days having a lovely time at the St. Louis Scottish Games, after being invited along by a friend. As a bit of lark, I did check with the genealogy tent to see if my surname connected to any Clan, and to my great surprise it did! So, after a few forms and a registration fee, I am now a fully fledged member of Clan Davidson, so that's pretty cool.
Sir Christopher Lee, one of the finest actors I've ever had the privilege to watch, is dead. While the world is lessened by his loss, he truly did lead a full and rich life, far more so than most.

I really like Fantasy , and these two are just as influential as Conan, Elric, The Lord of the Rings and Lovecraft's works, especially in the Swords and Sorcery sub-genre. Squeeing like a schoolgirl is entirely
Hope everyone has a pleasant holiday, and spares a few thoughts to friends near and far. Raise a cup of cheer, and here's to peace on earth, goodwill to all. One of these days we'll figure it out.
In the meantime, have the Phantom of the Opera singing "O Holy Night" (I'm serious, Michael Crawford, the original Broadway cast Phantom. Excellent voice.)
Now, I'm off to see the latest Hobbit film.
A little late, but better than never. As for me, I thankful for all the wonderful who are a part of my life. A life spent with friends is a life well spent indeed.
