    Okay. I'm Incredibly Annoyed

I was just playing Deep Rock Galactic. It was on special just the other day (for the Ultimate edition, it was $22, originally for about $81. Yyyyoink!)

Anyway. I was just playing a Hazard 3 mission, which took about an hour, all-in-all. I died a few times, but eventually we were about to extract, right at the door to the Drop Pod and lookinbg forward to the rich rewards... and suddenly,

    Fallout 4: Somewhat Funny Occurrence

I was playing Fallout 4 earlier. I use some mods, so i receive no trophies, which suits me fine. But that's getting off topic already. Kind of.

    My opinion: Centaurworld

Recently I've been watching Centaurworld (which much like MLP is a lot more than it appears).

    Minor spoilers, btw? :unsuresweetie:

It has a lot of fun bits, quite a few laugh-out-loud moments, and almost all of the musical numbers are good, thus far.

    Along The BoardTrot

In honour of the newest old piece of worldbuilding in G5, I thought I'd make this reference. Or, rather, put a spin on it. *Ahem*...

    Oh, when there's summer days
    And other Ponies seem aloof,
When your horseshoes are so hot
You wish that all four hooves were fireproof
    Along the Boardtrot
Out by the 'Bay, ay, ay, ay.
Havin' a party with my best friends,
    We'll be all day.

My opinion: Centaurworld · 11:20am May 18th

Recently I've been watching Centaurworld (which much like MLP is a lot more than it appears).

It has a lot of fun bits, quite a few laugh-out-loud moments, and almost all of the musical numbers are good, thus far.

It's a story of a warhorse from a relatively gritty and edgy world who getsseparated from her partner by magical means. She gets sent to a different world, full of colourful, quirky characters and strange magics. She needs to get them to help her to return to her world, so that things can get back on track.

Imagine if Rainbow Dash from the Sombra timeline was suddenly ported into Gen 3 and needed their help to return to her timeline.

Okay, that's a bit harsh, but you get the idea.

Along the way, she learns to accept who she is and what her role in things is. And at one point (after my favourite song of the season) she goes through a physical transformation to go with the mental.

It's a show about the juxtaposition of adulthood and childhood. Of innocence and responsibility. of friendship and independance. Of laughter and sorrow.

Though, to wit,

Live in the jungle once, but leave before it makes you hard. Live in the forest once, but leave before it makes you soft.

Most of the characters are relatively enjoyable.

With the notable exception of Derpleton.

Hot take: I know that his quirk is that he literally sees the world from too broad a perspective and that makes him a bit of an airhead... But having a reason for a character being stupid and annoying... Doesn't stop them from being stupid or annoying. Moronic characters like that SERIOUSLY grind my gears, regardless of the reason.

ANYWAY, it isn't quite Avatar tier in terms of being high art, but it's worth giving a chance. You can find it online in multiple places. Check it out. You might be surprised. I certainly was.

Thanks, now I can give this show a watch. I was unsure if I would ever see it because almost every single cartoon nowadays (with the exception of Bluey) only purpose is to be as nonsense dumb and quirky in every possible way, which is not my thing, and I look back to Centaurworld because, yes, the artstyle. But the same thing was with FiM years ago and look at me now, I'm a brony. I already learned my lesson I should judge less, but still, I truly haven't watched nothing both fun and interesting besides FiM recently (I'm rewatching, not the sort of fan that watches everyday religiously).
