Would it be okay for me to consider the comics non-canon?

I’m mainly asking because there are tons of stories that I’m planning on making that take place after Twilight’s coronation, and I don’t want to make them part of an AU.

I'd say yes. Before, Hasbro labeled the comics non-canon so it'd be a bit strange for them to suddenly reverse their opinion. Go right ahead.

If you want them to be non-canon, go for it. No one ever said that they had to follow the story line 100%.

It's up to you I never really considered the comic's canon anyway's and didn't hasbro already say the comic's weren't canon anyway's?
