We're stuck inside. Can't go out. But, fear not. The Voice in the Water has manifested itself in many places, so, here's some pictures of nature to help stem off the impending madness that comes with the cabin fever.
Well, it's been a little bit over a year, but whatever. Just thought I'd celebrate with a little post.
My life has gotten so much better since I stopped using and stopped hanging around with people who want to suck me back into that lifestyle. I have an stable jawb/income, I have my own place, I have a fiance who actually gives a damn about me, and I have basically no drama going on at all. I've even started going back to church.

The TL;DR of it - was fine. A good film on its own merits, but as a live-action adaptation of the animated classic, inferior. I'm not one of those puritans who sniffs the original is always better, but that's the case here. There are parts and elements of it that work well and improve on some parts of the original, but as a whole, the original is better. If you love the animated film, you should still see this film to take in those new elements. By no means is this film an insult or disgrace to

Just got back from 5 days of field work. I'm tired, covered in scratches and cuts, probably a little sunburnt, and have just stopped hurting when I walk. But, I also bring pictures of the outside world and the wondrous things in it. Enjoy some of the beauty of nature without having to lug around a bunch of research equipment.

Okay, this blog will be, like a few others of mine, a musical one. But not just any ol' musical, no no. This time I shall talk about one of my recent favorites, Lindsey Sterling. A lot of you may have already know about this talented violinist, but I just began to listen to her music and it keeps blowing me away. So today I will share with you three of my personal favorites. Almost a week has passed since I returned from GalaCon, and I've agonized over this post ever since.
It has been a wonderful experience, a blast, and a vacation I absolutely needed even if I didn't know it. How could I render justice upon this fantastic four days? A report? A slightly storified narration? A tongue-in-cheek recollection of salient events?
So, I just got back from seeing The Greatest Showman with my family, and golly, I’m so glad that I decided to go see it. I was so worried that I had set my expectations up too high and that I was going to get another repeat of my experience with the live-action Beauty and the Beast. Instead, this movie exceeded my expectations, and I loved it. I was even applauding by the end. (Thankfully, the theater only had around 10 people.

I found a really amazing picture of Fluttershy by an artist named Auurara, sadly I think this is another of our artists that has vanished. Still the image is amazing and beautiful. I think I'll put it on my phone. XD
