This story is a sequel to Zest for Life!
An unfortunate chain of events leaves Sugarcoat from Crystal Prep Academy with a bunch of electric scrap and empty pockets. To refill her purse, she decides to earn some money by taking on a job as a babysitter: On a Friday evening, she is supposed to watch over a pair of twins in the neighboring town. Despite the warnings of her fellow Shadowbolts friends, she is convinced that watching over a pair of toddlers will be a piece of cake.
It soon turns out however being a babysitter requires a little bit more work than she first thought...
Welcome back.^^ Now, on to the new chapter. XD
Cue an infinite zoom out from Sugarcoat to planetary orbit all to Sugarcoat's scream echoing into eternity:
"LLLEEEMMMOOONNN!!!"
lol Bite into, eh? She's about to bite into her friends for that. XD
Haha, I love Sunny's reaction to getting melon-slimed,
A moment of silence for Sugarcoat's sanity.
More please .... I love the series and everything about it... Can't wait for the next chapter
New story, alright! I was waiting for a new one. I'm so happy to see the Shadowbolts series continues. I feel so bad for Sugarcoat about her laptop right now. If that happened to me, I'd probably cry.
Sugarcoat in a babysitting experience is definitely an interesting storyline to go with since she's so blunt and unfeeling most of the time. I await to see what happens while she babysits the twins. Who knows, maybe she won't have it as bad as Pinkie Pie did. These are the human twins we're talking about. They don't have the ability to fly or use magic.
Are we sure that they haven't absorbed any lingering magic from Pinkie?
Based on how Pound and Pumpkin nearly imploded Pinkie Pie (someone with the most unflappably upbeat personality imaginable) something tells me that, by the end of tonight, poor Sugarcoat is going to be a babbling wreck. I'm also wondering if she's going to end up begging the other Shadowbolts for backup.

Yes, because the Terror Twins aren't enough, are they? There is the possibility that they've absorbed some of the magical fallout from Twilight's er... episode and now likely have something like flight and levitation powers!
Oh Sugarcoat? Honey? You shouldn't have been skeptical about this. Babysitting, is never, easy.
lol "No problem." *sees the room and immediately regrets her choice of words* That's a lot of sugar. XDDD
Congrats Sugarcoat you've just broken the fourth wall! Please report to Pinkie Pie for advanced lessons and seminars on breaking physics for fun and profit.
7787247 Broken may be a bit much - let's say she cracked it a little
7787263 if anything she's leaning on it. An amateurish desplay at best.
lol Now, she's learning why her friends looked at her with expressions of horror. XD
Cake Twins + large amounts of sugar from cookies = chaos.
Sugarcoat, hon, you should have just asked for help in the first place.
D'awww....
"So... You admit that you need my help?"
"Yes! Yes, yes and a thousand times yes! I need your help; I need anyone's help! Harmony help me but I think that I'd welcome that ditzy brain-dead blue-haired Siren's help right now!"
Another adorable chapter.:D And hilarious. XD
lol Loved the end there. XD
POUND: "Sugar..."
PUMPKIN: "... Coat..."
Well, Sugarcoat, I think that we can safely say you learned that sometimes good things happen even to cynics like you!
Moral of the story: Sitcoms lie to you
I see what you did there.
7814858 But, everything that happened in the sitcom more or less pretty much happened.

As horrifying as Sugarcoat's experience sounds, I'd still want to have kids even if I went through that trainwreck of a babysitting job. That's normal, right? Maybe some people *cough* like me *cough* have a natural affinity for children and nurturing and caring. Unfortunately, Sugarcoat isn't one of those people.
7895624 Ye, I suppose you're right.
Let me guess:
You had Lemon eat a melon because the two words are anagrams of each other.
8038802 No, I just thought it'd be funny.
Should have brought your laptop, oh, right. It's busted.
That is correct.
And 3, 2, 1...
Should have turned it off. Also, this is why I will NEVER babysit. I do NOT have the patience to put up with this shit.
A wise decision.
No way 😲🤣
