About a year ago I left my fimfiction account behind, partially because I was burned out after a less-than-fun response to a particular blog post I'd helped workshop but mostly because it had been a long time coming. I haven't really been following MLP since season five so between the show no longer holding my interest and the general trend of the fan community toward tolerating reactionaries, it felt like it was time to go. You've all noticed by now I've been quiet. Moreso than usual. This has, I believe, officially exceeded my record length for a hiatus. Well, there's a reason for that. Actually, there are several. One of them is that I've been having a hard time coming up with the right time to write these words in, and the right words to say.
I'm leaving FimFiction behind, officially.
This is an unplanned but very necessary follow-up to my last blog, which you can read here. Special thanks to commenters NikitaKitten and Axis of Rotation for helping me realize that there was more to be said on this subject.
