New cover art for How the Tantabus Parses Sleep · 2:53pm May 10th
Recently, I decided to commission some new cover art for How the Tantabus Parses Sleep, and I think Harwick did an excellent job of it. I did some resizing and added some text for the actual cover, but I'd be remiss to not show the full version from here:
I think it's pretty great. All of Harwick's art is!
It really is impressive how well he captured the concept of "friendly hole in/into space."
He always does amazing stuff. What a gorgeous piece!
Ooo, that's a beaut.
Please don't hate me for this, but something about her is giving me uncanny valley vibes.
The realistic lighting, anatomy, dark 'skin' and especially those lips make her look like somepony wearing a rubber suit.
Sorry.
I dunno, it might help if the lips were removed entirely and the eyes were a little less defined so that she looks more like a hole in space rather than a somewhat three-dimensional pony. Like the rest of her mane and tail. Those look absolutely fantastic.

Agree. She's far too glossy, I think.
Beautiful art!
