Hey y'all. Didn't sleep great last night, so keeping this update blog short.
Chapter 21 was a bit of a beast to contend with, but I'm satisfied with where it ended up going. Hopefully we'll get a breath of fresh air for a while after this one. Haven't started on Chapter 22 yet and won't be for a little while as I want to give my brain a break from writing Electro Swing to get an entry finished for the crackship contest. To answer your unasked question, yes, it is that fic I mentioned before starring Zecora. And yes, it is all first person perspective in Zecora's head. And yes-yes, it is all written in couplets. Why? Because I'm having fun. I like the story itself, but I am not sure whether readers will actually like it or not. Folks might be impressed that I stayed entirely in Zecora's head and did not skip out on description. It's an interesting challenge for sure having the narrator be Zecora's internal monologue and rhyming the entire fic. I'm about 1/3 or 1/2 of the way through it, which I am getting dangerously close to the cut-off date for submissions. Hope I can finish it before the 3rd!
I do hope my submission won't be late as I try not to procrastinate.
Anyway, that's about all I got for now. I'm tired today, so gonna nap a bit.
