Usually, I don’t write violent stories, but I may start. · 8:02pm May 17th
Usually, I don’t write anything with graphic violence or just violent in general into my stories, but with all the shit that’s been happening not just on here, but also in the world I might start writing violent stories, I’ve written a few most of them are not mature.
Let me know what you think?
Usually when I’m very upset, I write stories that are quite violent with swearing and people getting killed, but only when I’m like really really upset, I used to take it out on others but now I don’t do that anymore because that will not benefit me and it will only hurt the person I’m yelling at, so what better way to channel that rage than into a story, right?
Go ahead. I've got personally against you writing a darker story, but as long as it doesn't go too far, everything should be ok.

What do you mean, you have personally against me writing a darker story?
Did you mean to say you have nothing against me writing a dark story?
Go for it, darker stories are fine. Tho if it's just a gore fest I may not be too involved in it.
hey :) writing dark stories can be a way to vent, sure. I have given a go at that myself.
also sorry to hear things are tough
Violence has its place in a story. It can be a powerful and visceral element in a narrative, whether as an obstacle for a character to overcome or as a source of motivation or explanation for retaliation, revenge, justice, etc.
But writing violence for its own sake is a hollow endeavor. Put too much of it in your story, and it loses both impact for the reader and meaning for the character.

Nothing against you.
I meant that if you want to do a dark story then go for it.

i agree i do the same thing and haven't posted it but I do that when I am so angry I used to take it out on my brothers whom I love but then they gave me the idea to write that type of story
I say go for it, but don't force it too much, don't make a character swear just to swear, there needs to be a motive, a situation that may call for it.
