Chapter 10 "The Rise of Sunney Towne" of Fools and Drunks is now up.

I just posted "The Rise of Sunney Towne," which is Chapter 10 of Fools and Drunks. Originally, this was one long chapter called "The Tragickal History of Sunney Towne," but when I realized that it was over six thousand words long and looked to be ten thousand, I decided to split it into two chapters -- Chapter 11, still mostly unwritten, will be "The Fall of Sunney Towne."

Hope you like it -- this is the meat of the Dark Horror Soap Opera that is my Sunney Towne.

Hmm, dark horror soap opera. Can I trademark the concept?

In Chapter 10 Ruby describes the foundation and some troubles; in Chapter 11 she will describe how the village fell.

Would you believe me if I told you I've watched every Dark Shadows episode ever? Love that old soap it was very cool. The movie sucked but the show was great.

BTW, Jordan, I wonder if gothic romances exist in Equestria as a genre of literature? I can see Luna as a big fan of them. Yeah a bit stereotyped but still.
