IN WHICH I HIT A MILESTONE
Good morning! A few hours ago I officially hit 350 followers! In celebration, here's some TheFatRat.
I actually prefer some of Güttner's other compositions more, but this better fits the occasion. Anyway, stuff past the jump.
I thought about writing this blogpost the instant that 350's follower popped up, but I decided I needed to actually, y'know, write story for once. After drinking a 20oz cup of coffee mixed with 2tbsp of "Mexicocoa" to attempt a mocha, I was finally wired enough to attempt it. Unfortunately, I did not have fitting music to write by, so I had to spend a lot of time burning part of my CD collection in lossless to my 1TB external HDD (the CD burner is slow). But now I have a few more albums on there, which is good. Tomorrow I might copy my trove of Bruddah IZ albums.
Anyway, after getting more music ripped, I finally sat down and started writing again. And, luckily for y'all and for me, I think I may have finally finished the Sunset story I've been trying to write for months. Pending editing, of course. Me being me, I can always find things to tweak -- hell, I just tweaked a few bits in my story from last Halloween because I saw some minor errors both grammatical and continuity that bugged me. Like I said, I may not give a damn about show canon anymore since my world has diverged from it to an absurd degree, but I sure as hell care about my own.
So, as of right now, ATGE is about 5,500 words and would be about 10½ pages printed. I'm concerned I may have rushed the ending and might not have brought up every question on Sunset's mind that will be relevant to the final two SRA stories. But that's what editing is for, isn't it. Still not sure if I should ask for a second eye on this one. A fresh set of my own eyes may be sufficient. Maybe.
Also, as I took a walk today (as it will rain this weekend here), I tried to suss out my Sci-Twi Burritoverse story. I've got a pretty good idea how the plot -- such as it is -- will go, but I still need to figure out how her rambling internal monologue will go and what music references to weave into the narration. I already know which Dazzling will appear, so that's one thought locked away.
Question: Should I write a new Burritoverse story, or finish up SRA and then take care of other stories?
TL;DR - New Sunset SRA story is nearly ready! New Burritoverse story is in my head and partly outlined but unwritten. 350 followers yay.

Congrats on tree fiddy my dude. Been enjoying the Recovery Arc, but need to finish reading the Burritoverse, having only read parts 0 and 1a.
