    River City Equestria Girls?

Seriously, that's Pinkie Pie on the left, and Rainbow Dash on the right. Tell me I'm wrong.

I will not write a fanfic about the two of them getting into all the fights.

    Probably.

An "I don't have livejournal anymore" sort of update.

    It snowed yesterday.

Which just reminded me how much I don't like winter. It wasn't even a bad snow, just enough of a dusting to linger for a little bit. First one of the season. And I even had the day off from work, due to my schedule, so it's not like I had to do anything ...

    So I didn't.

    Happy Halloween!

So yeah. Despite various distractions (Steam had Darkest Dungeon for UNDER FOUR BUCKS), I've managed to hammer out a ridiculously shippy conclusion to the self indulgent Rarijack story I started.

So that's fun? I gave myself a deadline to finish things on Oct 31, so that's what I did, dangit. Hopefully you guys will enjoy.

Fanfic is weird.

So, awhile back, GrandCat started translating The Flash Sentry Papers into Russian. The existence of A) Russian Bronies and B) Russian Bronies that would want to read my fic is something new to me.

But wait, there's more!

As not only has my work been translated, it's now been audiobook'd. Or, uh, Youtube reader'd. Just ... in Russian.

Which, honestly, makes sense. The snarky, first person narration is ripe for narration. I've honestly thought about getting ambitious and recording something myself, buuuuuut. I've got enough on my plate as is these days.

Still, it's a trip to see my 'work' get out there on its own, y'know? And heck, if there's a dozen Russian Bronies who like my work, well ... I guess that's why the KGB has a file on me, or something.

Anyway, it's late and dark, and I should probably get to sleep.

Exciting, no?

"Vashe zrodovye!"
(As far as I know, that means 'To your health' but I know as much Russian as Eskimo so...)

How cool is that? Congrats! :pinkiehappy:

I've gotten a few of my stories translated. It's always gratifying to know that someone likes your work enough that they share it with another part of the world.

Also, my file may be right next to yours, so there's that. :twilightoops:

Translated and read? :O It's a Hearth's Warming miracle!

Congrats! That sounds utterly delightful. Except maybe the KGB file.

It is more like "Be healthy" wish. Or "We drink for You to be healthy" - as extended version.

5459874 ...which is an odd thing to be saying when drinking Russian vodka, but I suppose. :pinkiehappy:

That is Russia for You. We used to live with all the oddities of our country and take them as granted.
