Sequel is out for Sweet Pepper Drunkenly Rambles About Daring Do · 4:33pm Mar 31st, 2021
It's out. I actually did it. Usually, when I see comments suggest sequels on stories and the author hints they'll work on it, it never seems to come out. But a comment by Dreadnought made me realize there was a lot more that I can do with the character of Sweet Pepper. So not only did I write a sequel, but it's also now a multi-chapter fic. No, not just for fan service so that I can write Daring Do horse being socially awkward and funny for my entertainment, but because she generally needs help, and I don't want to leave her with a downer ending.
I first heard of Sweet Pepper when I was forced to write her for this competition for a Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Contest . My first thought about her was: "Who the hell is Sweet Pepper." She actually infuriated me when I first heard of her, but after finding out about her Daring Do obsession and writing about her, I realized it was actually a fun character to write. So why don't I write an actual story about her and post it here, to Fimfiction?
SPDRADD was originally going to be a short, random comedy that wouldn't have really meant anything. Just something funny about Daring Do, nothing more. Then I realized that Sweet Pepper never had her own story on here before. I shouldn't let this chance go to waste. So why don't I develop a little twist, just an ounce of depression. Something to make this story at least a little memorable. In two hours, the story was written, edited in 30, and published here. Where it became my most well-received fic to date.
Basically, I wanted to write more Sweet Pepper, and Dreadnought's comment gave me a good way to write her and develop her more. So yeah, if you're interested in reading the new story, give the first chapter a read. I'd appreciate it greatly. 
Oh and sorry about the silly cover. There's not exactly a lot of fanart to be had of Sweet Pepper.
