So Jinglemas is a thing, I've seen it before, but this is the first time I'm participating in it. The concept is great, think of a small prompt to request, submit it, then somebody else will write it for you, while you write somebody else's. This though just randomly came into my head while writing.

The word "manual". I was thinking about the different vocabulary that Ponies use compared to us. They don't say "hand, person, -one, or man" and since manual has "man" in it, I did some research to see if it would be changed by Equestrian Etymology.

Apparently I had it completely wrong, as manual comes from latin "manus", meaning hand.

So it turns out that the word would change, just not in the way I originally thought.

I feel I owe an explanation for my less than consistent upload schedule.

To be honest, I see writing as a secondary hobby. I enjoy doing it, and I also enjoy the feedback I get from it, but if I had to choose between struggling to write dialogue or playing a match of my favorite game, I think you get the point.
