The Next CTTB Story. [Plus Bonus Art and Updates] · 10:21pm Nov 19th, 2022
Well... after a promotion and getting bumped up in a higher tier job with my newest contract, I figured things were going to only get better. That, and my health was getting better... until last weekend.
I was rushed to the ER for the third time this year, despite having months of my prior symptoms all but absent. Then again, part of it might have something to do with being sick for a whole month with a virus not identified (possibly the adenovirus, but not certain). Regardless, I had an overnight stay and had to be transferred out for continued care... but still no diagnosis as to what is giving me stroke-like symptoms.
More testing is needed, but a lot of it has already been started, and appointments have been made Specialists are looking into my case.
Anyway! Onward to more positive stuff. Such as the prior picture above. Something to expect to see in the arc of CTTB. Not that I'm sure when the idea came to me, but I thought Cadance could use a themed weapon for her protection. At some point, the idea of taking her cutie mark as the bladed axe head and spade piece for a poleaxe was too perfect.
Then, for a real bonus, if you ever wondered what Shining constructed to fight Sword, wonder no more. In the piece we can see Shining holding his modified offensive shield in the cave during the final fight.
As a final bonus, Shing is going to want to have a more stable shield to carry around. Thus, this piece of concept art came to mind for a metal weapon for Shining to keep around.
Expect to see more starting in December when things are hopefully a little less hectic.
