Hey all!
It's been nearly a year since that blogpost I made where I decided I needed space from Fimfic and moved permanently to my personal website.
Well, a LOT happened in that year. I want to say the first half of it and some was probably one of the worst months of my life, but... EFNW was a massive wake-up call in regards to what I was doing with my life, so... I ended up quitting my job to try and make it as a freelance writer!
And it's... working? Sorta??? It's rough, obviously, especially since I've only just started out, but I'm making rent payments, and I've written and posted more in the past few months than I have in years. For the first time in a long, looooong while, I can say I'm actually happy and thriving and hopeful for the future. I'm even doing original content and working on originalifying some of my stuff! It's exciting!
So, with that in mind, and knowing that I still do tons of MLP content, I've decided to start posting here in a limited capacity as a sorts of archival. Like a, uh, collection of Curated Mono Hits while 100% of my content will be on my website.
And that's it!

And I'm also glad to see that, even if you're not entirely back, you'll be posting stuff here again. My reluctance to follow you to your new site was due entirely to the convenience features FiMFiction offers (easy notices of new chapters, downloads in multiple formats).
Sweet on all fronts! Best of all, we get occasional Mono here on FIMFiction to remind us to check your site for bigger updates. I think this is a win-win for everyone involved.
This is so nice! That blogpost you refer to felt like a bittersweet farewell. But now you've come back writing stories, pony related or not, and, most important, working in what you really like to do! Congratulations, Mono!

P.S.:You probably don’t know this, but lots of people think that Fimfiction works just as well as a socializing website, and we are still doing peachy reading stories and talking about life, ponies and stories.
Also, not all of your MLP-related works will be here? That…confuses me because I’m not sure how are you going to decide what makes it here and what doesn’t, (I mean we hope that all of your pony goodness can be uploaded here for convenience,) but I am just a normal guy, who am I to judge as long as you’re happy?
