How do you deal with rejection? It’s something I haven’t been able to understand lately, and it’s messing with my state-of-mind. The reason why I ask is because I got rejected by a fraternity at my university I wanted to join for the second time. It’s something I’ve been passionate about since last semester, yet I was deprived of it once again. At first, it didn’t really bother me because I believed I’d try again this Spring. But the sting really stuck me where it hurts when I got that message from them saying they wouldn’t continue with my acceptance. Now I feel like this rejection is interfering with my writing. I hope you don’t mind me sharing this sob story but I just felt like I needed to get it off my chest. So, thanks for listening.
you my support to help you in this hard time.
Been there, sometimes it’s hard to get why people seem to not want you. I know it’s easy to think it’s your fault after awhile, but sometimes people are just only looking to accept their certain type; those who are only perfect in their eyes. (I myself have been down a somewhat depressing spiral when I felt rejected. Eventually I just thought it was because of my slight autism or my personality)
If they don’t get you or appreciate you then you don’t need them, you might be better off without them. Perhaps a group of your fellow writers or people more like you would suit you…
What HailHydraz said is true if they don't get you then you don't need'em and of course you can always count on the support from your story fans here. Keep pushing forward if there is an obstacle then push it out the way we got your back.👍👍
