Apologies for not putting up a notification for this earlier, but today's card blog will be delayed while I'm still in the Philly Phanatic's nesting grounds. (Gritty eats the eggs.) In the meantime, please enjoy the irony of MagicFest Philadelphia keeping me from making cards. Also, you can check out a few of the funky designs I got from this guy named Gavin.
The Phanatic is amazing! Lol I'm a huge Phillies fan.
Inside Baseball Alert: Original Skullclamp is a well-known previous iteration of the card. It was changed to the printed version too late to realize what they'd done by letting it instantly kill equipped creatures.![:derpytongue2:](https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/derpytongue2.png)
New cards are amazing, showing multiple old legendary characters working together in the vein of Gisa and Geralt. As hilarious as some of them are, my favorite joke is somewhat subtle: Ghalta and Mavren have the same power and toughness that Ghalta had by itself for the same reason that nobody tried to throw 15 squirrels at Emrakul.

My main beef is they don't have the typeline space to have class types. Goro Goro and Satoru is neither a ninja nor a samurai, etc. Also, pulling a bunch of mini Apocalypse enemy teamups feels really rushed (not that I'd rather have eight-nine blocks of return to phyrexia invades plane X).
Wild Shotgun Guess for the future is them pulling the "add the last color" bit with Urabrask subverting Atraxa.
Edit: Guess no. 2 is Sigarda/Odric as the rgw teamup.

All I'm going to say before previews begin in earnest is that the only thing funnier than Slimefoot and Squee is Multani and Yargle.
