Shipments crawl along... · 2:47am Feb 24th, 2023
Since conventions resumed (and I had a stomach bug), shipping has slowed a bit. Roughly speaking we're at 70% shipped, not counting the handful of re-shipments I've been making to correct mistakes.
(As it happens I've caught one mistake before it went out- one of you ordered in the Kickstarter and then ordered TWICE through WLP Comics' online store, and I didn't catch it. So one lucky Canadian is going to get THREE copies of the hardcover...)
Anyway, most of the domestic shipments have either gone out or are printed up to be packed and shipped as I have time, energy and opportunity. International orders have lagged, because even with pre-making customs forms, getting them posted at the rural post offices I use is time-consuming.
As I type this there are sixteen shipments that I haven't even made tags for. (That'll happen next week, as I need to get to bed shortly to wake up at 4 AM for a small convention in Fort Worth. Ah, the glory of being a fandom vendor...) I have most of March off, though, so the last package should leave here before the end of that month.
HOWEVER- there are six of you who NEVER gave me ANY shipping address. You didn't answer the survey or email me or anything. And I'm tempted to start naming names...
Anyway, once all the shipping is done (ending with getting copies to the artists), I'll announce how many hardcovers and artbooks remain of the overflow supply. NEITHER ONE WILL EVER BE REPRINTED. I intend to keep the paperback in print provided ongoing sales justify it, but the hardcover is just too expensive for reprints. And, of course, I don't want Private Division on my case over certain content in the artbook...
Finally, I've begun preparing for a Maretian Kickstarter, which will roll out once I have the first nine pieces of interior artwork in hand. Here's a little taste of that...

Well... shit. Looks like I'm out of luck forever, since I lost the one slot I could afford back in the day because the Kickstarter apparently had to get restarted at a higher price...

I've been meaning to ask you if mine had been sent out. I've been worried that someone might steal it from my from step. If it's being sent by USPS it shouldn't be an issue. There are package lockers in the mail room, and they'll put the key in my mailbox.
