I just wanna get away from my dad
I would be censoring which relative he is like I do with most my other relative. But after 20+ years of dealing with him. With only two other relatives to talk about it with. Because I didn’t want to talk to anyone else about it. He deserves to be shamed
I hate how he gets drunk so often! Like, every weekend or so. Being verbally abusive (not physically) to everyone and his ego going kamboom! Everyone believes him! Even if they weren’t present! Like a a year or two ago, one night when my other relative was out he gave me a pathetic lamb bone with barely any meat on it for dinner. Apparently I was in the wrong
When I was like 10-13. He caused two of our dogs to fight by leaving the barrel of biscuits out. Thankfully they weren’t badly hurt, but one of them ended up with a chip in his ear.
Recently he accused me for foal-feeding a cat. Whatever that means...
There’s beer bottles around the house and outside...
I was told he wasn’t allowed to go to school events (like plays, awards, whatever) because he was drunk during one of my sibling’s
He got upset when I was playing with our puppy/young adult dog once... When I was 13/14
Drove when drunk a few times. Luckily there’s yet to be an accident. But I hope he gets caught
Chased our cat. Also, I think he tried to hit him once, but that was from the side of my eye, so not 100% sure about that

Sometimes he’s a nice or at least a decent guy when not drunk... Really shows how alcohol can ruin someone
Yeah. My dad has problems with alcohol too. It's why we live in different states now.

Yeah, he does sound like a real piece of work.
I never had these kinds of problems with my dad, but I can see why you wish to get away from yours.
He seriously needs to get some professional help.
