I go biking a lot, when the weather permits. It is my preferred way to exercise, and I love to explore the woods and see beautiful sights both natural and manmade. There are countless little wonders all around us, as it turns out.

And sometimes I see other things.

There are a lot of horse stables around here, and I always make a point of saying hello to my horse friends when I see any. But did you know they make sunglasses for horses? At least I assume that's what they are: a sort of mesh pulled over the horse's eyes. I never saw them before this year, but now they're common. I guess it's a consequence of global warming.

So naturally they come in different styles.

They're actually more fly masks than 'sunglasses'. some horses won't tolerate them over the ears as well, but you still want to keep certain kinds of insects from, say, laying eggs or such; eyeworm disease is nasty. There are a few external parasites to watch out for. ^^;
