All right, I've lost the motivation to write my own stories, that much is clear. But if someone wants to pay me, well, maybe I'll be able to reason with myself and get to writing again.
It doesn't help that I have 90 dollars to my name at the moment, and big van's leaking radiator ain't gonna fix itself!!!
I don't really have it in me to calculate rates and math is hard, so I'm just gonna say $20 per 1k words, it seems to work well enough for other authors on here, or at least it did in 2021 and I figure 20 sounds good enough inflation or not.
Speaking of inflation, sure, I'll write it. I'll write pretty much anything, but there are a few limits, I suppose just ask? Or I could spoiler it; no genuine rape (roleplay is fine and even actual rape can be fine if the other party ends up enjoying it, but I just can't write that kinda story if someone is being genuinely hurt), no scat/watersports, no foalcon (at least with an actual kid, teens are a gray area), no gore, no end-of-the-world shit like zebradom or human invasions, and so on
But the list of things I will write, well, it's all over. I've got the tentacle-equipped changeling-plant hybrids known as Plantlings, the symbiotic liquid latex ponies, plones, Polaris and his dark magic, Tinker, I'll write canon ponies, pretty much any Pokemon, hell I've written bowser of all things so the sky is really the limit. Still, there's bound to be stuff I won't be able to bring myself to write, so... I dunno, just message me or something.
I'm guessing I'll do it like I did last time, half the payment up front, "half" being half of however long you estimate the story will be, and then the other half when it's finished. I won't inflate the word count just to get more money out of you, but I don't exactly know if I'll be able to promise an exact number.
So if you want 20k words out of a story, I guess it'd be $200 up front, but if the story ends up being 22k words, then the second payment will be $240. Something like that?

I don't know, just send me a message if ya like the stuff I write and want some of your own, I'll probably come up with a more official commission info page/document/blog/whatever someday.
So is it 20$ per 1k words of 10$ per 1k words? Your example with 20k words story suggest its 10$ per 1k if i understand it correctly.
