Writer's Block, Power Outage, and the undecisive nature of a two parter

What's Gucci, gamers. It's September and the volume I finale isn't out yet... or finished. It's been tough.

Usually while writing I use chatgpt to help fill in the blanks/give me a creative way to move a scene forward, but it seems like they updated it or I fed it too much of the story because it just keeps summarizing what I give it. In the middle of August, I suffered a statewide power outage so I couldn't write for a full week.
So, I have the idea of a grand finale of volume in mind, but as I write I find myself bringing in too many characters and ideas and plots that I don't think can be justifiably finished in the 4k word average. Unlike the first chapters there isn't a need to introduce new characters and unlike chapter 5 it isn't a linear story... it's a bit everywhere...

I've got the ending written down I just need to finish everything else and then update it to a satisfying conclusion (of volume I)
Expect two chapters to be released days apart when I get them both finished.
