Someday, I'll stop writing silly comedy stories. However, today isn't "someday".

Requests for my 5th anniversary story(s) are now open! · 5:55pm Nov 5th, 2023

Next month, December 15th to be exact, will mark my 5th year on the site. As per a tradition I started having, I will take requests for a story (or 2) that I will write to celebrate my 5th year anniversary. To up your odds, you can make up to three requests, and the request window will be open until November. 15th.

However, while the stories can be of any rating or genre, there will be some conditions for the stories in general, which are:

1: You must be a follower to make a request.

2: The story should be able to be under 15,000 words. If you're not sure if it would be, you can still request it and I can try to decide if it might be under or close to 15,000 words, especially since this is a soft word cap.

3: No G5 stories. I still haven't caught up on it, so I'm not familiar enough with G5 to tackle a G5 story.

4: If it's a request for a story with my human OC Eric Reed, another human (unless it's an EQG character) or an Anon cannot be introduced into Equestria. Stories with a new human OC(s) or an Anon that doesn't have Eric are fair game, though. A story with Eric also cannot have him become a pony (or at least, not permanently) or have him go to the EQG world; the latter is already planned to eventually happen in a future story.

5: No crossovers. This is mostly because there is no guarantee I'd be familiar enough (or at all) with a particular franchise to be able to write a crossover with it and MLP.

6: No political stories.

7: No stories that derails or otherwise makes another character look bad/worse without an in-story reason for it. For example, a story where Twilight Sparkle is unusually mean to Spike for no reason but for the story's plot to work is a no-go. However, a story when Twilight is put into a bad mood prior wouldn't break this rule and thus be fair game. Caveat: this rule can potentially be broken if a story plays it purely for laughs and isn't meant to be taken seriously.

8: No story that is basically a fix-fic for controversial or outright unpopular episodes or events, such as a story where Princess Twilight refuses to be Equestria's ruler or gives up her alicorn wings or princess status. But like with rule 7, this condition may be broken if done for laughs.

9: No porn stories.

Now with those boring rules out of the way, let the requests begin!

Ta-ta!

Here’s an idea for a story. Anon finished work today and just wants to relax at his home near the edge of Ponyville. Yet the main six (and possibly others if you choose) keep trying to rope him into what ever they are doing. You can choose the rest of the parts of the story, like what the main six (and possibly others) what anon to do with them. I imagine this would be a comedy. Even still I think a story like this would be funny, but it’s your choice if you want to do my suggestion. Hope you have a nice day, my friend.

Um can you disregard rules 5 to 8 for me a little? I think you'll like this so two ideas (both of which came from this story:

TThe Huntress and The Siren
Luna travels to the world of humans for a vacation, and encounters an old enemy from the time of myths.
Undome Tinwe · 6.3k words  ·  125  5 · 1.7k views

)
Basically Celestia is Jane D'Ark and Luna is the horse Caligula made a consul

Pinkie Pie takes up the mantle of Wondermare after hearing about a comic book story. The rest of the Mane 6 try to stop Pinkie before she causes too much damage.

I feel like there aren't enough good Spike fics out there, so here's a few ideas off the top of my head.

1: Spike and Eric Reed have a boys' night out (in?) planned for the night before Nightmare Night while Twilight and the others are away. Their plan is spoiled when Twilight ropes them into watching the cmc so Rarity and AJ don't have to. Their plan is REALLY spoiled when, while playing a spooky urban legend game, the cmc summon some sort of actual supernatural threat. The night then becomes a frantic game of Spike trying his best to keep everyone alive and trying to convince Eric to take things seriously and stop trying to relax. (A comedy, with Spike as the main character, depending on how you handle Eric being featured in stories where he isn't the pov character.)

2: Spike is trying super hard to finish all his chores and all the tasks Twilight gives him on time, because he knows Twilight is having a bad day. Despite his best efforts, things go wrong and he not only doesn't finish everything on time, but forgets a super important task Twilight gave him. He breaks down and apologizes to Twilight, leading to her comforting him and them sharing a tender moment and reassessing their expectations of each other. (More of a slice of life/fluff piece focusing on their relationship, but feel free to add comedic elements.)

3: After yet another villain of the week drags Twilight and the gang away, Spike sighes, stretches, and begins tidying up everything that the girls can't take care of while they're away. That magical experiment Twilight left running? Taken care of. That order of dresses Rarity needed to deliver? On time and presented perfectly. That MacGuffin that Twilight realizes they need to defeat the villain but rushed off without? Conveniently placed in her saddlebag in the final hour, with nobody the wiser. (I'll leave it up to you how it ends. Does Spike get any recognition for all this? Possibly. Does he care? Maybe. All in all, it's just another day of being Twilight's number one assistant.)

i can't guarantee anything, but what are the ideas? Going by that story's title, tags, and description, it doesn't look like it would break rule #5 if it's not a crossover (I.e. a MLP & Sonic or a MLP & Dragon Ball crossover or any story that would require the "crossover" tag) and I can't tell if it might break rule #8 or would be borderline.

If you read the story at the end Adagio reveals that Luna was the horse Caligula made consul and that, in that world, Celestia was Jane D'Ark, along with the reveals that both Luna and the sirens were involved in the making of the greek miths I just want to see your take on the concepts, also the breaking of rule 5 is because it's technically a crosover with real life history

I see. The good news is that, since it's only adding elements of real life history in the story, it looks like it's still basically a HiE/PoE story in general, so it wouldn't really break the rule of no crossovers. It's not a crossover in the usual sense, and wouldn't need the tag.

That said, while it would get past the rule, it sadly rans into an issue of why I threw in the rule in the first time: I know some of Greek history and somewhat know of Jane D'Ark, but I don't think I know and understand enough to use them or the concepts properly in a story, even in an oversimplified version.

Let's just say history, especially about non-US history, was never my strongest point in school.:rainbowlaugh:

You should give a look to the hundred years war, the thing reads like bad fanfiction but it was all true, and has a lot of moments that feel like cheep YA novels, but again super real and true, as for the luna thing that's way more simple, that is if you don't want to go in on the can of worms that is Caligula, and the mithological thing is just an excuse to let us know that they were here since the start of our history
