Did anyone actually ask for this?

So apparently Playtonic is remastering Yooka-Laylee.

Who asked for this? Who thought this was a good idea?

    A few things, Playtonic:

    1. This game is only seven years old.

Will try and get an update or two out soon, but...

...These next two weeks at work are going to be stressful as hell.

I just have to say one thing, just to get it off my chest.

If any of my readers are private health inspectors with standards higher than local laws, I just have this to say:

    That is all.

    Good night.

    Tell Your Tale: P + P = BFFs

This week, we've got a... Somewhat touching Posey episode?

Think this would benefit from a longer runtime. I also laughed harder than necessary at Izzy in the very beginning.

Robocop was one of the first R-rated movies I saw as a kid. · 10:58pm Nov 12th, 2023

And let me tell you this:

Seeing ED-209 move fluidly in this game, instead of through stop-motion, is really trippy on my brain.

good old ED

It really is trippy.

does it squeel like a pig? Or was that only the prototype.

It does. Just like Terminator: Resistance, this game is stupid faithful to the source material.

Like the sprint button? Robocop doesn't sprint; he just walks faster.

oohhhhhhhh that's nice.
It's going to get meme'd on I'm sure but for fans? Yeah, that's a lowkey detail that makes me actually consider buying the game... This year is truly shaping up to be the best year in gaming. Truly a contender.

This developer has seriously come a long way from their first game (Rambo, I believe).

Both Terminator Resistance and Robocop Rogue City do essentially the same thing: toss out the laughably bad third movie (and beyond in Terminator's case) and give us a story that puts Hollywood's recent efforts to shame.

I'm not saying the stories are groundbreaking, but they're certainly better than what the later movies gave us.

Funny to see them go from that Rambo game to making these games now, guess they really learned their lessons, huh?

If only other studios could learn as well as they did.

so stupidly faithful, it looks slightly out of place like the stop motion model
it looks like someone photoshoped ED in

I'm glad for the faithfulness, the alternative is grim
