Opinions on Something New... · 9:47am Dec 1st, 2023
So, I'll be honest. I can be a bit scatterbrained with the way that I write. Sometimes, an idea will just catch me, and I'll devote a few chapters, and before I know it, I'll be entrenched to eventually finish. I have a series that I've been idly working on since June that I'd like to share with everyone, but I don't have cover art for it yet (had someone who was going to work on it, but they canceled on me), and I am only 3 chapters in. That being said, I'm very likely going to be busy due to finals week, and finishing that, I'll be visiting family across the country for a week. I want to leave a bit more here this month as thanks, so I had a few options.
1) Post the 3 chapters, once every week, along with either a 4th one and the next chapter of His Moonlight, Her Starshine
2) Post the first chapter, another chapter of His Moonlight, Her Starshine, and some other stories (most likely finishing commissions)
3) Focus on His Moonlight, Her Starshine until it's finished along with other commissions (I also do commissions off of this site for non-MLP stories, which I also do because I've been suffering from a bit of pony burnout).
I'd like you all to let me know. Just know, I do love and appreciate you all. Life has been hard and people go through a lot, but every commission is proof that I can do stuff that I like and make a living.

My ability to read and keep up with things isn't exactly what I hope for, but I'm always interested in having the opportunity to read things. I think option 1 sounds great. It's hard to judge without having any idea what the story is, or what other commissions you might be working on.
Whatever you decide to do, hope you enjoy it, and you have a nice holiday season.
(Also, I haven't seen any new posts on your FA — is there somewhere else you've been posting non-pony stuff?)
I think the second option makes the most sense. That way you can gage how well this new story works and still focus on your other stuff before returning to it, potentially with some constructive criticism
3 please just started reading and ive been hooked. im almost caught up so a new chapter or a bunch finishing the story would be a dream come true and i can finally go to bed lol. thanks and love the work you
