February 2024 Update: (Didn't) Save the Date! · 1:18pm February 9th

February 9 was my deadline for the publication of the Screwball/Moon Dancer short story. Alas, I am not ready yet, though it is currently in the others-are-pre-reading stage. I am setting a delayed deadline of February 13, this coming Tuesday, though admittedly, it may still be tight since I have yet to actually start on doing the cover art/graphics.

As for reading, it has been rather scattered since I got the Kindle, but I've currently taken bits and pieces of: Warpony72's Front to Front, UnknownError's The Princess and the Kaiser, MagicS's Applejack at the Edge of the World and Getting Into the Interdimensional Portal Business, James A. Michener's Caribbean, and selected stories from Contemporary Maine Fiction: An Anthology of Short Stories ("Ernie's Ark" by Monica Wood and "The Music of Angels" by Cathie Pelletier).

I have not put in additional progress on [VOYNICH] involving Princess Cadance and Nightmare Moon. However, I am also considering taking just a slightly longer story idea than [ALBERTI]/the Screwball and Moon Dancer one while I refine the [VOYNICH] outline. Two ideas are around (without much elaboration: [CORNERMAN SIX] and the standard duo of Thorax and Chrysalis but in an EqG setting, set in the same universe as Magical Curiosity; and [MANTUA] with Trixie in the Tirek timeline).

One more thing: Given the contents of my last blog post, I ought to at least say that Muffin is recovering as per the latest blog post! This is good news. I do not have much else to say on this, other than that we ought to continue to pray for the reconciliation of many.

That will be all for now! May God's grace continue to spread.
