Happy Birthday, Andrew Francis

Today is Andrew Francis' birthday. Fittingly, with today being Memorial Day, he is the voice of Shining Armor from the character's debut until his final on-screen appearance in Season 9. He was also the voice of Night Light for the character's first (and brief) speaking appearance in "The Crystalling, Part 2", and was the voice of a couple of other characters, including at least one royal guard.

She is the talented woman who voiced Starlight Glimmer from Seasons 5 through 9, and was also the voice of characters such as Sassy Saddles, Misty Fly, and Vapor Trail's mother. She has also been the voice of Barbie in several direct to home media movies, Scarlet Witch in X-Men: Evolution, and many other roles.

Happy Birthday, Nicole Oliver · 4:14pm February 22nd

Today is Nicole Oliver's birthday, she is the talented woman who voiced Princess Celestia and Cheerilee across FiM's nine seasons. She was also the original voice of Spitfire, and voiced at least one minor character in the form of the elderly groundskeeper in "Shadow Play, Part 1". Interestingly, Nicole wasn't originally planned to voice Princess Celestia, that was intended to be Kathleen Barr. But I for one am glad that didn't happen, I can't imagine Princess Celestia sounding anywhere near as endearing or motherly if Kathleen Barr had been her voice instead.

Nicole has had other voice acting roles over the years, including voicing Zoe Trent in the 2012 reboot of Littlest Pet Shop, and being the voice of Chi-Chi during the later stages of the Westwood Ocean dub of Dragon Ball Z.

Happy birthday, Nicole. I hope you continue to be blessed with many great voice acting roles for years and years to come.
