RIP Akira Toriyama · 5:04pm March 8th
I just found out that Akira Toriyama, the creator of the Dragonball series, has passed away at age 68 due to acute subdural hematoma.
Honestly... I'm still in shock as of writing this, and I'm also sad that the creator of an all-time greatest anime is no longer with us. His creativity is a great influence on me as well as many others. Even other shows and video games were influenced by his work in one way or another; Sonic, Amphibia, and even MLP:FiM.
There's probably more than I could list, but you all get the point.
Rest in Peace, Akira Toriyama. And thank you for everything!
It's hard to believe we've really lost such a legend. But he left one hell of a legacy that will ensure he'll never be forgotten.
That would explain a lot.
Also, seriously, me too, Dragon Ball inspired me a lot when I was a kid. Heck, the guy's a genuis.
RIP Akira Toriyama
May you rest in peace and may your work continue to inspire future generations

True, true
I'm so so sorry about the loss of such a legend... I might not be a fan of Dragon Ball Z but I know how big of a deal it is, and no doubt the creator was quite a guy. :( RIP indeed Akira Toriyama... :( You'll be missed but not forgotten.
Farewell, Toriyama. Go teach a dinosaur to ride a bicycle.
RIP Akira Toriyama, I used to love watching Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z on TV when I was a kid, another childhood icon gone.
