Okay, who told Patreon about the Ponicon/Tokyo Ko-Fi drive? · 11:31am April 6th
Every so often, logging in to my Patreon account will generate a popup: this is generally the site trying to tell me about a new feature. In this case, I've been given the ability to write posts which only members on the 'Free' tier would see. As discussed in an earlier blog, anyone can join without actually making a pledge, and it gives them the ability to -- read certain posts. So now I can put up things just for the free members, and Patreon somehow believes this will entice people to move up into the actual pledge levels.
Suuuuure it will...
But that's not the story here. I logged in, I got the popup, and...
...oh, for...
* sigh *
...anyway, here's my Ko-Fi link for the convention drive, which is trying to reach next year's Ponicon in Tokyo. As of this writing, we're at 11% of goal.
There would be travel blogs. In time. But for today, I'd be happy if the total moved 0.1% closer to completion.
Coincidence of images? Obviously. And regardless, yeesh.
Coincidence? Or an algorithm that knows a bit too much about you? Who can tell!

Meanwhile my algorithm is so confused it sometimes gives me podcast ads in Spanish, and car dealer advertisements in Korean.
