    I CAN'T STOP WRITING!!!

    All my chapters so far kept going over a 20-25k word count, and I kept having to split them.

    Thoughts? Do people find long chapters like this annoying? Or do you use the bookmark system often?

    Edit: Thanks for the thoughts everyone. Just trying to get a better idea of how to structure my chapters.

It's better to separate them, because for some reason huge chapters scare people away from reading them.

It’s fine. Some of the best stories have ridiculously long chapters

The only downside of large chapters is that their number seems too small. It feels like you've just started reading, with over 100+ thousand words ahead, but a couple of chapters later, it ends)
